The Teaching Project

Shubhakamana School

A beautiful rural school set in the Kathmandu Valley in the Taudaha province of Kathmandu. The school is closer enough for us to access from central part of the city and far enough away to feel the true Nepali countryside and foothills of the Himalaya beyond.

Teaching

The essence of every trip we take is a week-long teaching project at the school. Your students will take over their own classes and have the experience of their lives as they teach English to eager and willing Nepalese children.

Creative

Students in Nepal do not receive the most innovative teaching methods so they are aways excited to get the most creative learning experiences from our student groups - lessons range from first-aid, practical science, dance and drama as well as more traditional academic subjects.

Shubhakamana Got Talent

The Shubhakamana children love to show off their skills and talents in our annual talent show - you can compete against them or just sit back and enjoy the cultural experiences!
